Work on defence and attack
Sunday (22.11) and the match against PAS Giannina is almost in sight, and the PAOK players are stepping up their preparations for the match, which will be broadcast via PAOK TV for fans living abroad.
On Thursday (19.11), tactics were again the focus of attention for the PAOK players. The program kicked off with some running exercises and rondo, ater which the players were split into two groups to work separately on both defensive and attacking tactics. After that, there was a friendly match whereby the players had to execute in a match situation the tactics lessons they had picked up beforehand. The last part of the session saw the players work individually on various aspects.
Tziolis and Michailidis returned to Thessaloniki after international duty and submitted a test for Covid-19 which came out negative for both, and so they trained normally, as did Tsiggaras, Colak and Koutsias , while Ingason and Wague trained individually and are expected to join up with the rest of the squad for training on Friday (20.11).
Omar El Kaddouri took part in the full session without any reaction to his previous foot injury, while Douglas Augusto received treatment and will have an MRI scan to assess the extent of his groin injury.
On Friday (20.11) the PAOK squad will be back in for training at Nea Mesimvria at 10:30.
