Under-17’s hit Lamia for six
PAOK’s Under-17 side enjoyed a superb afternoon in their first match of 2020, defeating Lamia 6-0 in emphatic style to maintain their position at the top of the Super League.
Papavasileiou and Taxidis’ team started the ball rolling from early on. Tasiouras opened the scoring after just 11 minutes and two minutes later Tsikos converted a pass from Kitsakis to doubled the advantage.
The tempo of the game slowed after that up to half-time, but then after the break the home side were soon back on the goals trail. Smylis netted in the 49th minute following a pass from Kedikoglou, and then the next two goals belonged to Darelas. His first came in the 53rd minute from Kedikoglou’s assist to make it 4-0, and then seven minutes after the hour mark he fired in a shot from distance to take the scoreline to 5-0. Darelas was not done yet, however, as it was him who teed up Babouras to make it 6-0 with 20 minutes left.
