Under-19’s end season with victory
PAOK’s Under-19 side played their last official match of the season, defeating Volos 2-1 away from home on Sunday afternoon in their Super League Matchday 26 clash.
PAOK completed a dream season with what else but another win, putting the seal on a campaign which saw them win a league the cup double, undefeated no less. PAOK finished with 64 points from 26 games, compared to 56 points for Olympiacos and 53 for Panathinaikos.
PAOK took the lead in the fifth minute via Stylos, but Volos equalized in the 75th minute. However, in the 87th minute Gravvanis netted what proved to be the winning goal from an assist by Mygdalias.
PAOK’s lineup: Malygin, Psyroukis, Vyrsokinos, Tsitskas, Kalpakis, Papadopoulos (76′ Eleftheriadis), Tsitsilas (87′ Vlachos), Kanios, Papadimitriou (68′ Gravvanis), Lobas (68′ Mygdalias), Stylos.
