On the new year what he hopes it will bring for PAOK and the club’s fans:

On the game with Larissa:

«We start tomorrow with our first game after a short break. We expect a difficult match; they are always intense, difficult matches [against Larissa]. We have worked for several days on the bits and pieces that we wanted to improve, some tactical exercises that we did not have the time to work on before, and have tried to improve. Only a victory interests us and that is why we will go to Larissa – to get a win.»

On the busy fixture list in January:

«There are a lot of games, and important ones. A lot of derbies. For us, the most important thing is the next game. We do not beyond that. Only tomorrow. We want to win all of the games [in January]. We have a good squad, are are managing the players well with the rotation that takes place. It’s good because we have a lot of talented players. Whoever we put in will help us, and give us a lot of options. All of the matches are crucial and we are ready.»

On the returns of Lamprou and Warda:

«Both of them will help us. They are very good, quality players. They are first-team players, that is the most important thing. There are many games until the end [of the season] and we want to have plenty of options. They will give us freshness and offer solutions in the attacking line.»

On Michael Krmenčík and whether he is close to a move to PAOK:

«We want good players, whoever can come to help us, we need them. Any player that can add to the quality here, then it’s good for him to come. We are expecting the Czech forward, he will help us, and give us options. He is a good player, quality, he has played for many good teams in Europe and I hope that he helps us, that’s what we will expect from him.»

On reinforcement of the midfield and the case of Filip Krovinović:

«It’s a difficult question. We have a lot of midfield players. We look at those we have and what they can give us. We are still not looking at those who may come or not, we are focusing only on those that we already have.»

On whether or not there will be any players departing:

«Not at the moment. Everyone is here, and ready to play. Whoever is in the squad is ready to play in the next games.»

On Rodrigo, and on whether or not PAOK are looking to recruit a right-back:

«Rodrigo is training, but he lacks rhythm as he lost some training days. He is not yet 100% ready at the moment, we will see if he will included in the squad for the next game.»
