PAOK are preparing to play their third away match in a row this Sunday (11.04, 17:15) at Asteras Tripolis on Matchday 3 of the Super League Interwetten Play Offs.
The win over ΑΕΚ and the way it came about has changed the mood of the players and coaching team, and everyone is determined to take advantage of the momemtum and return to winning ways away from home also in the league.
After the long stay in Athens for two matches, the squad returned to Thessaloniki, and after a necessary rest day on Thursday, began the preparations on Friday (09.04) for the upcoming game at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium.
Before the start of the training session, all of the squad submitted fresh Covid-19 tests. Afterwards it was on to the training pitches to work on tactics, while the second part of the program saw the players break out into an inter-training friendly on a half-pitch.
Adrian Pereira felt some discomfort in his left knee and remained in hte gym and the swimming pool for some individual training and physio, but his condition is not thought to be of serious concern, while Enea Mihaj continued his long-term rehab program.
Andre Vieirinha, who took a knock in the match against ΑΕΚ, trained normally with the squad and is expected to be available for selection for the match in Tripolis.
On Saturday (10.04), PAOK will train at 11:00 at the Toumba before departing for Tripoli in the early evening.
