Zivkovic: «We are taking each game as it comes»
Zivko Zivkovic shared his thoughts and insights on the upcoming Super League Interwetten Play Off against Aris Sunday (09.06) to the Novasports cameras. Read what the Serbian goalkeeper said on paokfc.gr.
On what he attributes to the change in PAOK’s performances in the Play Offs:
«Everything that’s good is coming out of training. We work very hard, as we did in the past, and as we always do. In some games you win, in some you do not, the most important thing is to keep working hard and the results will come as they have done for us.»
On how he evaluates the run-in to the end of the season:
«For us the most important game is the next one. We have three more ‘finals’ to play. This is how we deal with everything. Our focus is on Sunday’s game and we will see what happens.»
On whether the final result will decide second place in the standings:
«We are not looking at it like this. We look at each game separately. We are only thinking about tomorrow’s game, we are not interested in anything else. We go step by step and I do not think that tomorrow’s match will decide which team will finish in second place, since there are still three more games.»
On whether there is a possibility of surprises between the two teams tomorrow:
«We have played them three more times already this season. With the new league system that features the Play Offs there are a lot of games. I expect a good game tomorrow, and we will see who wins. Our scouting team and our analysts have prepared us well for the game, and we will be ready.»
On his own personal performances this season:
«Now is not the time to talk about my personal performance. We still have games ahead of us. When we are done with those, then we will regroup and see both what the season was like for the team and for me on a personal level.»
