Work, work, work…
Avoiding mistakes. Showing the obvious quality. The demonstration of character and personality. Self confidence. Support from the fans. Those are all of hte ingredients needed to lead PAOK to an upset and qualification.
Such are those ingredients the ones that can help get the Double-headed Eagle out of the predicament they have put themselves in and turn the first-leg loss to Levski into the first important lesson of the season. The specifics, of course, don’t magically appear on the pitch.
Razvan Lucescu and his players know that they have to work hard to turn the aggregate score against them in their favor and that is what they are working on every day. On Sunday morning the squad were back in Nea Mesimvria. The training program consisted mainly of tactical work in both defence and build-up play, as well as finishing.
On the positive side, Lefteris Lyratzis returned to training. The Greek international full-back trained normally and is available to Lucescu . Andre Vieirinha, on the other hand, is still not ready. Michailidis, El Kaddouri, and Oliveira all trained individually.
On Monday (25.07) PAOK will train at 09:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
