Ivan Nasberg joins PAOK
PAOK FC announces the acquisition of Ivan Nasberg from Valerenga. The young defender has signed a three-year contract with the club and will wear the number 3 shirt.
Ivan Tarek Fjellstad Nasberg was born on April 22, 1996 in Oslo, Norway, just a few meters away from Valerenga’s stadium. Nasberg joined the team at the age of just five. He went through all of the stages of the club’s educational process, stood out early and at the age of just 17 he made his debut with the men’s senior team.
In his early years at professional level he did not get many opportunities, however, he was a regular member of the second team and spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Sweden with Varberg.
He returned to Oslo, worked hard and gradually took on a key role at Valerenga. In fact, in 2020, when the team finished in third place, he was named MVP, while he made a total of 152 appearances, scoring five goals and contributing three assists.
Nasberg’s contract expired on July 31. PAOK had already reached an agreement with the player, who was looking for a new challenge in his career, and now the Norwegian has become a resident of Thessaloniki.
