Under-19 side clinch away win over OFI

PAOK’s Under-19 team made it three wins out of three this season on Saturday by defeating OFI 1-0 in Heraklion on Matchday 5 of the Under-19 Super League.

Gitersos scored the winning goal with a header in the 73rd minute, taking advantage of the rebound from Zilos’ shot that came back off the post.

PAOK controlled the match for long spells of play and were not threatened by the home side’s attack for virtually teh entire match. The visitors even had 10 attempts on target but failed to add to the winning margin.

They are now on nine points, and after the break PAOK next welcomes Panathinaikos.
