Under-19s draw in Serres

PAOK’s U-19 team threw two points away in Serres today. The Matchday 9 clash of the Super League against Panserraikos ended 0-0, despite it being essentially an attacking monologue from PAOK’s side.

Although PAOK were in control almost throughout the match, and despite creating many chances, as well as not being threatened, unfortunately they failed to find the net.

The result means PAOK is now on 17 points after seven games, the same number as Olympiacos. Panathinaikos is on 15 points after seven matches and plays tomorrow, Sunday.

The Double-headed Eagle is now focused on the UEFA Youth League match against Akureyri on November 5 (17:30 at the Serres Municipal Stadium).

PAOK’s lineup: Beleris, Tsiotas, Vyrsokinos (57′ Dunga), Avgitidis, Avrampos, Eleftheriadis, Aretis, Gioka (84′ Economou), Gravvanis (64′ Stylos), Toursounidis (84′ Tsitsilas), Krommydas (64′ Papadopoulos).
