Training ahead of departure for Lyon
Body and mind still in shock. Numb. Tightness, freezing. But football, like modern society, is relentless. You have to pick up the pieces and get back to work. This is what happened on Wednesday morning (28.01) in Nea Mesimvria, with the squad completing their preparations for the game against Lyon for Matchday 8 of the League Phase of the UEFA Europa League 2025-26 ahead of the trip to France.
First a minute’s silence. A small tribute to those who left us so unjustly, for the team they loved and traveled to see in another European stadium.
Then down to work, on tactics and a special program for set pieces, in view of the match in France.
The only absentee was Luka Ivanusec, who underwent treatment and worked out in the gym.
