PAOK 100: Memorial Day at Toumba Stadium
Legends of Greek football, who have written their own history with PAOK, Panionios, Apollon Kalamarias and Apollon Smyrnis, stepped onto the grass of the Toumba Stadium and participated in a day of remembrance on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Double-headed Eagle.
PAOK FC, the committee for the celebration of the club’s 100th anniversary, and the team’s veteran footballers’ association organized a tournament with the participation of refugee clubs, to honor the memory of the lost homelands.
The legends of the teams remembered the old days and gave their best in the games, while dance groups from refugee clubs of Thrace, Asia Minor and Pontus played live music and danced on the pitch.
