PAOK FC statement
PAOK FC moves on to a new chapter.
The club is consistently and steadily moving forward with the implementation of its commitments presented on April 28, with the plan to transform PAOK into a modern European sports organization, which will be based on a new and flexible administrative structure, with clear and distinct corporate and competitive functions, and with infrastructure that will enhance its dynamics and competitiveness at the highest level.
Restructuring of the squad and football department
In this context, the following key changes to the club’s structure and staffing are announced today:
Leo Matos takes on the duties of Sports Director. The former PAOK defender has significant experience in football administration, having worked for the last three years as Technical Director at Vasco da Gama, one of the biggest clubs in Brazil. He holds a coaching diploma, a Sports Management degree from the Brazilian Football Federation and UEFA certification.
André Vieirinha takes over as Technical Director. André, who is taking coaching courses to obtain a UEFA A license, has performed at a high level as a player and will take an active role in shaping and implementing the team’s competitive strategy and the daily supervision of the squad and football department.
New Administrative Model
In the coming period, PAOK FC will also present in detail the club’s new administrative model and its staffing.
The evaluation and reorganization process is already underway at all levels of the organization’s operation. The plan includes the completion of modern organizational charts, new job descriptions, standardized procedures, operational protocols and mechanisms for continuous evaluation of all personnel.
