PAOK players split into two groups on Thursday for their training session at Nea Mesimvria. Those who were in the starting line-up against Ergotelis followed an aggressive recuperation program, as they need to be ready in time for their next engagement, the away game against Panthrakikos.

The second group consisted of players who either came off the bench against Ergotelis or didn’t play at all on Wednesday. After their warm-up with physical condition drills and sprints, they engaged in small-space games to work on ball circulation.

Dimitris Salpingidis withdrew from the last part of the session complaining of persisting pains in the foot and did physiotherapy. Hedwiges Maduro continued his physiotherapy and muscular strengthening program, while Răzvan Raț and Ricardo Costa did MRIs to determine the nature of their respective injuries.
