On the last stretch
There are still two days remaining until the “Double-Headed Eagle” enter the pitch for yet another battle. Having that in mind, players and coaching staff got to work on Thursday morning in Nea Mesimvria.
The training program consisted once more of tactical work. After the necessary warm up and some possession 5v2 games, players split into groups and worked on defence and attack ahead of their encounter in Lamia. They wrapped up the session with a half-pitch training match.
Djalma Campos trained apart from his team-mates and his participation in Saturday’s encounter will be decided after Friday’s training.
Friday’s training session has been scheduled to start at 11:00 in Toumba Stadium. The squad will travel to Lamia in the afternoon.
