The squad for Lamia
The players are primed and ready for another battle. The preparations for Thursday’s match against Lamia were wrapped up on Wednesday (22.01) with a final training session at Nea Mesimvria.
The coaching staff went through some finer details of the tactical approach for the match, which mainly concerned attacking build-up play, as well as some rondo and a friendly match to round things off.
Omar El Kaddouri trained normally but he has been left out of the squad for Lamia as he is still some way off being fully fit. Morislav Stoch, who is suffering from a virus, sat out training for a second consecutive day and is not available either. Leo Jaba continued his individual recovery program and treatment.
After the training session, Abel Ferreira announced the following 19-man squad:
