A wonderful team play
Anestis Mythos’ assist to Andrija Zivkovic in the match against Asteras AKTOR was voted Play of the Month for March by the paokfc.gr audience.
The game against the Arcadians at the Toumba was coming to an end. PAOK held a slim 1-0 lead and were looking for the goal that would seal the three points. And then came a perfect attacking effort. Zafeiris played Mythou in behind the defense from the left and the young forward, showing a cool head when looking up to see a gap, proceeded to thread a wonderful pass through for A. Zivkovic who finished clinically to make the final score 2-0.
In the poll for the Play Of The Month, Anestis Mythou collected 61.7% of the votes and won the individual award.
Antonis Tsiftsis came in second place with his amazing save away at Olympiacos, while the podium was completed by Ozdoev’s excellent assist to Hatsidis in the match against Levadiakos.
