Under-15's edge closer to title
A 3-1 victory for PAOK’s Under-15 team over Panaitolikos saw them move another step closer to the Super League title on Sunday afternoon in Souroti.
PAOK’s victory came despite Panaitolikos leading in the 12th minute. But the three-point haul means they are now seven points ahead of Olympiacos, and they need just two more points to mathematically «lock up» the championship. The next matchday sees them go to Crete to play OFI.
The Double-headed Eagle equalized in the 28th minute with a direct free-kick taken by Solomidis and made it 2-0 in the 58th minute, with Kakalis scoring from an assist by Efstathiadis. Deliopoulos made the final score 3-1 in the 71st minute, after receiving a pass from Kakalis. It should be noted that PAOK also hit the post in the 55th minute with Solomidis the unlucky player.
PAOK’s lineup: Chrysoulakis, Deliopoulos (72′ Geladaris), Simos, Itskos, Efstathiadis, Solomidis, Athanasellis (40′ Papageorgiou), Perrostis (40′ Vasilis Skaleris), Priovolos (60′ Tsiligeridis), Drosos (40′ Floros), Kakalis.
