Panagiotis Deligiannidis spoke about the game and his performance, while also suggesting that the “Double-Headed Eagle” should have scored more goals:

“It’s been a while since I played and perhaps I was a bit tired. I wasn’t given any specific advice by my coach. He just told me to play my game and bring out my quality on the pitch.

We should have scored more goals, but I am confident that we will be much better shortly. Dimitris missed the spot kick but showed great character, able to convert his very next opportunity. I am happy with my first game of the season, but I know I can do much better«.

Efthymis Koulouris commented on the importance of Levadiakos’s goal and spoke also about the extension of his contract:

“Victory was important for us. When conceding a goal, things change of course. We won our first Greek Cup game and qualification is easier now because of it. In my opinion, many of the guys who featured today did a good job. All I have to do from my part is perform well«. And the Greek forward added:

“The issue of my contract extension will be dealt with in upcoming days«.
