Under-19’s up for the cup

PAOK’s Under-19 side, who have already been crowned champions of the Super League, are aimning to complete a league and cup double in the Super League Cup final against Aris, which will be held on Friday, May 15 (18:00) at the Panaitoliko stadium in Agrinio.

15.05.2026

Confirming the timeless quality and stability of its academy, PAOK, the current cup holders in a new contest which began last season, aim to defend their title and of course complete the first double in their history. Undefeated, in fact…

PAOK’s Under-19 side reached the final, making, if nothing else, convincing appearances and qualifying with victories in all stages of the competition. PAOK eliminated Levadiakos in the qualifiers (0-2, Eleftheriadis, Stylos), Olympiacos in the quarter-finals (3-1, Eleftheriadis, Aretis, Gioka) and Panaitolikos in the semi-finals {3-1, Gravvanis, Aretis (2)}.

On the other hand, Aris needed a penalty shootout in the semi-final against Atromitos to secure their place in the final. In the quarter-final, they defeated AEL 2-1, while in the qualifying round, they qualified, also through penalties, against Panserraikos.

PAOK’s squad for the final consists of the following: Tsintsolis, Belleris, Maligin, Tsiotas, Kyriazidis, Dunga, Vyrsokinos, Tsitskas, Avrampos, Avgitidis, Karagiannidis, Eleftheriadis, Gioka, Papadopoulos, Kanios, Toursounidis, Balde, Tsitsilas, Aretis, Papadimitriou, Gravvanis, Lobas, Stylos.

  • Let us recall that in last year’s final, held in Heraklion, PAOK beat Olympiacos 1-0 in extra time, with a penalty won by Berdos and converted by Kosidis.
  • In the Super League championship, PAOK beat Aris in both matches (2-1 at home, 3-0 away).
  • In the final, unlike in the previous phases of the competition, in the event of a draw, extra time and then penalties will take place.
  • Players up to 19 years of age (born from 01/01/2007 and later) are eligible to participate. As an exception, in the U-19 Cup matches, it is permitted to declare up to five players born in 2006 on the Match Sheet. Throughout the match, the simultaneous participation of up to three players born in 2006 is permitted.
  • Up to four players who are not eligible to play for the Greek national teams or do not have Greek citizenship (Greek identity card or passport) are permitted to be listed on the Match Sheet. Throughout the match, the simultaneous participation of up to two players is permitted.
  • VAR will be used in the final.
  • The match will be broadcast live by NOVA, both on its subscription platform and freely on the YouTube channel.
