Back to work

After recording three back-to-back victories last week, PAOK players and coaching staff are focusing on nothing but extending their streak.

26.09.2017

The next challenge for PAOK is to record their first away victory in the Super League Souroti, as they visit Larissa on matchday 6.

After enjoying the day off on Monday, everybody returned to work and started preparing for the AEL FC Arena encounter.

Răzvan Lucescu and his assistants prepared a session focused on passing game and ball possession, with several drills and games in reduced space.

Marin Leovac, Gojko Cimirot and Léo Matos did decompression work and will train alongside their team-mates on Wednesday. José Ángel Crespo trained on his own and will work at a higher pace on Wednesday. If he passes the test, he will reintegrate the group, making himself available for Saturday’s game.

Djalma Campos, on the other hand, hasn’t yet recovered from his groin tendon pains. He did physiotherapy and the medical staff informed Lucescu that the Angolan player is ruled out of the upcoming encounter.

Dorian Lévêque did physical condition and strengthening drills and will start a reintegration program.

Wednesday’s training session is scheduled to start at 17:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
