Into the final stretch
Just two days ahead of the team’s return to Super League action against Lamia at the Toumba, all of the players and coaching staff have been working hard in training to perfect the preparations.
Friday’s (18.10) training session was focused on two areas. First the players were split into two groups and worked on build-up play and set-pieces, while the secondly the program was wrapped up with a three-team mini-tournament.
Anderson Esiti remained in the gym due to a minor groin injury. The Nigerian midfielder will undergo an MRI scan so that medical staff can evaluate the injury.
Omar El Kafdouri, Fernando Varela and Pontos Wernbloom all continued their individual recovery programs and treatments.
On Saturday (19.10) PAOK will train at 10:30 at the Toumba stadium.
