Tribute to the Tempi Eaglets
The league wasn’t won in Larissa. But the squad needed to make that stop in Tempi, in the monument of the six Eaglets who met an untimely death in October 1999.
Respect is one of the elements keeping a family glued together. Respect for the living and for those departed. PAOK family not only remembers the dead, but honours them with every opportunity they get. As far as we are concerned, they never left.
Upon their return from Larissa, the expedition of the “Double-Headed Eagle” stopped by the Tempi monument along with many fans for a tribute to the children who vanished in that accident.
