Koulouris signs for Toulouse FC

PAOK FC announce the transfer of Efthymis Koulouris to French outfit Toulouse FC.

22.06.2019

A genuine product of PAOK Academy is heading abroad. After a decade at the “Double-Headed Eagle”, Efthymis Koulouris will continue his career at Toulouse FC of the French Ligue 1.

The young forward joined PAOK family in 2009 and made his mark in the Academy, celebrating the U17 and U20 title and breaking Stefanos Athanasiadis’s scoring record in the process.

He was promoted to the senior team in 2014 and showcased his skills by netting a brace in 45 minutes on the day of his debut, a Greek Cup tie against Apollon Smyrni in Rizoupoli.

In the following season, he established himself in the senior team, then played in Cyprus for Anorthosis Famagusta FC for a semester. In 2017-18 he celebrated the Greek Cup triumph with the “Double-Headed Eagle”.

Last season he was given on loan to Atromitos and he made headlines. He was top scorer of the Greek League with 25 goals in 35 encounters all competitions included. He also became a regular for Greece national team.

We thank Efthymis for his contribution to PAOK and we wish him all the best in his career.

Good luck Efthymis
