Return to training with running and possession play
A two-day break after the victory at Volos has given the PAOK players the necessary mental and physical rest required to re-charge their batteries for the upcoming match against Panathinaikos (03.11, 20:00). On Tuesday morning (29.10) it was time to get back to work.
The players and coaching staff returned to the training pitch to start preparing for the upcoming derby match against the Greens at the Toumba. The session included work on fitness and possession, and there was a friendly match to finish off.
Omar El Kaddouri trained normally with the rest of the group, while Leo Jaba trained on his own as he continues his recovery from a minor injury. He is expected to re-join full training on Wednesday. Jose Mauricio also worked on his own, as did Fernando Varela and Pontus Wernbloom.
On Wednesday (30.10) the team will train again at 10:30 at Nea Mesimvria.
