#67 matches have been played between PAOK and Panathinaikos from 1959-60 to the present day in Greece’s top flight (including Playoffs) with PAOK as the home team. PAOK has recorded 34 wins, while there have been 13 draws and Panathinaikos have won 20 times.

#5 goals have been scored by Giorgos Skartados in games against Panathinaikos at the Toumba. George Koudas and Stavros Sarafis have each scored four.

#35 consecutive goals have been scored by either opponent regardless of the venue. The last time no goal was scored was on October 19, 2008 when the two teams met in Thessaloniki.

#On August 25, 2002, one of PAOK’s highest scoring wins over the Greens took place with a 4-1 success at the Toumba. Giorgos Georgiadis scored twice, Spasic added the third, and Henriksen’s own goal made it four. Panathinaikos’ goal came from an error by Giakoumis who put the ball past his own goalkeeper. This record was eclipsed by a 4-0 triumph over Panathinaikos at the Toumba on December 10, 2017, with goals from Pelkas (8′, 51′) Koulouris (68′) and Prijovic (77′).

#From March 15, 1987, when PAOK lost 3-2 at the Toumba thanks to a hat trick from Christos Dimopoulos, and until May 5, 1996 when PAOK lost 1-0, the Double-headed Eagle of the North remained unbeaten for eight macthes, a run which included six wins and two draws in home matches against Panathinaikos.

#Now, with four consecutive victories against Panathinaikos (11-0 in goals) both home and away, PAOK is enjoying the best run in the club’s history against the Athens side in league play. This beats the run from 1972 – 1973 with three wins in a row. During this time of course there were also two wins against Panathinaikos in the Greek Cup, which extended that run to five consecutive matches in all competitions.

#Leandros Symeonidis, on December 17, 1961, scored the the only PAOK goal in a 3-1 loss to Panathinaikos at the Apostolos Nikolaidis stadium.
