Stepping up the pace
With players returning from international duty and from injuries, the PAOK camp is slowly building up a head of steam ahead of the upcoming Super League clash against Larissa.
Tuesday’s (19.11) training session was an action-packed affair full of exercises and games. The early part of the session was focused on fitness, and then on possession and passing. After that, the baton was handed to the coach for a tactical lesson before the usual friendly match to finish things off.
Pontus Wernbloom and Leo Jaba were the only absentees, with the former continuing his individual injury recovery program in the gym and the latter undergoing medical treatment. Sverrir Ingi Ingason returned from Iceland duty, and tomorrow, Dimitris Giannoulis, Dimitris Limnios and Alexandros Paschalakis will re-join the squad following their Greece commitments.
On Wednesday (20.11) PAOK will train at 10:30 at Nea Mesimvria.
