Swiderski’s magic wins the Regency Casino Best Goal for October
A single flick is often enough to provide a truly memorable footballing moment. One touch which gets the crowd on their feet. And it was one such flick from the boot of Karol Swiderski which did just that against Lamia – a strike which won him the award for Regency Casino Best Goal for October.
PAOK made a blistering start to the match against Lamia at the Toumba stadium, quickly moving 3-0 ahead. Josip Misic and Dimitris Limnios scored the first two goals, before Karol Swiderski put the icing on the cake with a piece of brilliant individual skill
Miroslav Stoch cut in from the left and crossed for the Polish striker, who produced a magical backheel flick to leave the opposing goalkeeper with no chance.
And in the poll which was conducted via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App, together with Regency Casino, PAOK’s top scorer came out on top with 54.91% of the vote to earn the Best Goal for October.
Limnios’ header against Volos came second, while Swiderski’s strike in the away match against Asteras Tripolis was third.
