During the international break, the squad’s training sessions are based on two pillars: the first is maintaining their fitness and freshness ahead of the restart of league action, and secondly to work on tactical approaches which will help the team improve its shape and performance.

Friday’s (09.10) training session began with some running exercises, then it was on to a game of rondo, and after that the squad worked on tactics. The plyers were split into groups of defenders and attackers and they played out a match with specific tactical instructions on a half-size pitch. The program was concluded with a friendly match again with some specific tactical guidelines.

Jose Crespo received treatment for his thigh injury, while Rodrigo completed the main part of the training session and is scheduled to have a fitness test tomorrow.

On Saturday (10.10) the players will be back in for training in Nea Mesimvria at 10:30.
