The day began with the now well-established Covid-19 tests for the players. After that, it was all about the football. The focus was firmly on the tactical approach that the coaching team want to see executed at the weekend, with both the attacking play and transition from defence to attack the main aspects covered.

Douglas Augusto has gotten over the virus that was troubling him in recent days and he returned to training with an individual program so he can be gradually eased back in to full training. The Brazilian’s inclusion in the squad for the match at the Yedi Kule will be decided after the final training session.

Enea Mihaj is the only name on the injured list, with the Albanian defender continuing his rehab. For the match in Crete the suspended trio of Ingason, Α.Ζivkovic and Omar El Kaddouri are out of contention.
