Special tactics lessons ahead of Veria
A series of demanding double training sessions were concluded on Friday (30.09) as the PAOK squad gear up for the start of the domestic season.
Training kicked off with the necessary warm-up, followed by a game of rondo. Then there were some special tactics lessons delivered by Razvan Lucescu, work on set-pieces, and a mini friendly in the finale.
Ingi Ingason and Rodrigo Soares worked individually on the practice pitches and the gym, while Omar El Kaddouri received treatment.
The players and coaches will have a first-class opportunity to apply everything they have been working on this week out on the pitch in the friendly against Veria away on Saturday (04.09, 18:00), with Mitrita, Sidkley and Akpom preparing to make their debuts.
On Sunday (05.09) the team will have a rest day and will return to training on Monday afternoon (06.09) to begin their preparations for the Super League Interwetten premiere against PAS Giannina at the Toumba Stadium next Sunday (12.09, 19:00).
