The Philanthropic «Pantelis Kyriakidis» Tournamant
The PAOK Academy continues to show its sensitivity and solidarity with the annual organization of the “Pantelis Kyriakidis” charity tournament, which will take place this year on December 18 and 19.
At the age of just 12, in May 2009, Pantelis Kyriakidis, a young player from the PAOK Academy, was seriously injured and his father lost his life when they were returning to Thessaloniki by following a tournament. Pantelis continues to fight a brave and difficult battle for his life, stuck in a deep coma. However, his recovery requires huge sums of money to continue.
PAOK, faithful to its commitment to continued support for Pantelis, is organizing tournaments at the Leontes and Champions sports centers (11.00 to 17.00) with the participation of our collaborating academies of the PAOK Football Prints network from both Thessaloniki and the wider area of the region. The tournament involves age categories from Under-16 to Under-14.
Lotteries will take place at the entrances of the facilities, while prizes will also be drawn.
For the safe entry and organization of the tournament, both players, their escorts and supporters must follow the health protocols in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The following applies for the matches:
- Players up to 11 years old: Self-test on the day of the game.
- Players from 12 to 17 years old: PCR test 72 hour before the game or a Rapid test 48 hours before.
- Coaches: PCR test 72 hours before the game or a Rapid test 48 hours before the game.

The use of a facemask is mandatory both indoors and outdoors. Players are excluded from having to wear a mask during games.
Regarding escorts-parents-spectators, the entrance to the facilities is STRICTLY limited to those who have a certificate of vaccination or illness or a result of a negatrive rapid test (within 48 hours).
