Vote for February’s nak Play of the Month
A great pass, a smart assist, and a super save. Three unique footballing moments are in contention for the nak Play of the Month of February, and you will decide the winner via paokfc.gr.
The first play in the running for the award comes from Andelino Vieirinha. At the start of the phase of play which led to Jasmin Kurtic’s dramatic 95th-minute goal against AEK at the OAKA in the Greek Cup, there was a magical moment for The Leader. The captain lifted his head up, saw Mitrita move forward and picked him out with an exquisite pass which put the Romanian in behind the opposition defense.
Next up, it’s Antonio Colak. The Croatian forward was crucial in the game against Midtjylland, and the highlight of his performnace was undoubtedly the assist he gave to Andrija Zivkovic . Colak went one-on-one with the Danish goalkeeper, and despite being seemingly fouled as he moved in, the PAOK player, even though he fell to the ground, managed through sheer stubbornness to still pick out Zile who made it 1 -0.
Finally, Alexandros Paschalakis could not be excluded from this one. The Goldkeeper took part in a penalty shootout for the first time in his career, and of course he made history. The PAOK goalkeeper saved Meyer’s first spot-kick and sent PAOK into the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
