PAOK were dominant in Heraklion. They creatred many phases, did not allow OFI to threaten Kotarski’s goal, but they could only score one goal and paid for it in the last phase of the match, when Diamantis headed home to make the final score 1-1, depriving Razvan Lucescu’s side of two points.

Khaled Narey was again the standout player for PAOK. The German was delightful to watch in yet another game. He was the player who collected the ball from Andre Vieirinha in the eighth minute and put his team in front with a wonderful goal. In general he also seemed to be everywhere on the pitch, covering the kilometers, and battling in every phase. He was a constant threat to the Cretan defense, while also being consistent in tracking back to help his team defend.

And unsurprisingly, in the Fans’ Man of the Match poll, Narey collected a huge 73.31% of the public vote to pick up another personal accolade.
