As is the custom every year, the Greek Professional Football Players Association (PSAP) award ceremoney took place at the Athens Concert Hall, with the top performers of the 2021-22 season honoured.
And of course there were some mentions for PAOK players. Jasmin Kurtic was included in the top XI of last season. The Slovenian enjoyed an excellent campaign. He played in 51 games for the club, scored 18 goals and also provided three assists.
Giannis Kargas was also included in the top XI for his performances with PAS Giannina.
Giorgos Koutsias was named the top new player of the A Group of Super League 2. The young forward scored nine goals in 16 matches with PAOK B.
The women’s team could also not be missing from the football celebrations. Esse Akinda received last season’s leading scorer award, while a special award went to the lifetime champions of the Double-headed Eagle, who won the championship for the eighth consecutive season and 17th overall.
