The team gathered at their training base for the first time and got down to work, despite some significant absentees. Internationals Koulierakis, Konstantelias, Ingason and A. Zivkovic, Kotarski – who is competing in the Under-21 Euro 2023 championship – and Stefanos Tzimas, who is in the Greek Under-19 team for the European championship, were all missing. However, Tsingaras, Vrakas, Kanis, and P. Tzimas were all present after returning from their loans.

The training premiere included a packed schedule. Fitness exercises, high-intensity ball games, but also some tactical exercises, with an emphasis on ball movement and build-up play.

Khalend Narey has left the health problem that plagued him in the finale of last season behind him and he trained normally with the main group, while Taison was absent on special leave. The Brazilian will join training on Sunday.

On Friday (23.06) a double training day is planned in Nea Mesimvria.
