Another win for PAOK Under-17’s

The Under-17 team simply do not lose. After Saturday’s (16.12) 3-1 victory over PAS Ioannina, the unstoppable youngsters moved onto 18 points from six games. And this is only during the B phase of the Super League championship, as Orfanou’s and Bikas’ team also had a 100% record in the A phase.

It’s worth remembering that the Under-17’s also won the final against Olympiacos, which directly gave them the first ticket to the Final Four. The next game for PAOK is the preioviously postponed Matchday 3 game in Agrinio against Panaitolikos, on 22.12.

In the game against PAS, which took place at midday on Saturday in Efkarpia, the visitors took the lead in the first minute. In the 26th minute, however, Tsiotas equalized for PAOK from an assist by Papanikopoulos, and in the 38th minute, Tsitsilas won a penalty, which Eleftheriadis converted to make it 2-1. This was followed by Stylos‘ goal and in the 75th minute, Vassili scored for the final 3-1 scoreline, scoring on the rebound from Papanikopoulos’ shot.
