Another three points for PAOK B [with pictures]

PAOK B collected another three-point haul, albeit in a rather stressful way, way from home against Kavala with a goal from Hurtado, and they remain in second place with 14 points, with AEL leading on 19 points. The top two teams face each other on the next matchday.

The game was balanced in the first quarter, until PAOK B began to take control. And after Balomenos put saved fom Madic in the 12th minute, shortly after PAOK B went in front in the 19th minute via the usual suspect Hurtado with a powerful show from inside the penalty area, taking advantage of Lagonidis‘ interception. In truth there were not many chances afterwards, apart from another impressive save from Balomenos in the 38th minute.

The situation did not change much in the second 45 minutes and although Kavala was reduced to 10 players (in the 48th minute due to Gavrielidis being sent off for collecting a second yellow card), PAOK B did not make the numerical advantage count. Of course they did show the desire to score a second goal, but Kavala pressed well and to a large extent did not allow their opponents to find any rhythm. Chances were at a premium and the score remained unchang00ed until the final whistle.

Kavala: Astras, Dalianopoulos (78′ Spanoudakis), Itcios, Tsamouris (78′ Kasemi), Pasagits, Dimitriadis, Gavrielidis, Metse, Gekas (54′ Lelekas), Madits (54′ Ebouka), Papadopoulos (70′ De Oliveira).

PAOK B: Balomenos, Filon (80′ Adam), Sinanai (60′ Deligiannis), Lagonidis, Kottas, Grosdis (24′ Kalogiros), Tsopouroglou, Tsaousis, Smyrlis, Rumiantsev (80′ Koulouris), Hurtado (60′ Kanis).
