Preparations for the last match of the year
PAOK are preparing to close out 2024 by welcoming Atromitos to the Toumba Stadium on Sunday (22.12, 19:30). Preparations began in earnest on Thursday afternoon (19.12) in Nea Mesimvria.
The game with AEK is a thing of the past. PAOK lost the first leg 1-0, but everything will be decided in the second leg at the Toumba Stadium on January 9, 2025. Until then, the Double-headed Eagle are focusing exclusively on the upcoming battle with Atromitos for Matchday 16 of the 2024-25 Stoiximan Super League.
The players who were in the starting lineup for the match at the OPAP Arena followed a recovery and rehabilitation program, while the rest of the group worked on tactics and possession, while the players contestred a friendly in the finale of the session.
Jonny Otto followed an individual program on the training pitch, as did Omar Colley. Thomas Murg underwent some physio treatment. Finally, Taison has agreed to have a few extra days off and has traveled to his homeland.
On Friday (20.12) PAOK will train at 10:30.
