PAOK announces the signing of Greg Taylor, on a free transfer from Celtic. The Scottish left-back has signed a contract until 30.06.2028 and will wear the No. 32 shirt.
Taylor was born on 5 November 1997 in Greenock, Scotland and took his first steps in football at Rangers‘ youth academy, before joining Kilmarnock in 2014. He made his professional debut with the Kilmarnock first team in 2016 and by 2019 he had made 131 appearances, scoring one goal and providing 10 assists, becoming a key member of the team.
In September 2019, he transferred to Celtic and quickly established himself as a left-back there. In five seasons with Celtic, he played in 216 games, scored nine goals and provided 33 assists, while celebrating five Scottish league titles, three Scottish Cups and three League Cups, being a key part of the team’s most successful period in the last decade.
At international level, Taylor has worn the Scotland national team jersey 14 times since 2019. He has also represented his country at junior and youth levels, including the U-20 and U-21 teams, and was a member of the squad at UEFA Euro 2020.
Welcome, Greg!
