June 2023: Ivan Savvidis announces to his associates his intention to build a new training center in the Thermi area

August 2023 – January 2024: Within five months, the purchase of 150 acres of land is completed.

January 2024: Ivan Savvidis’ intention to build a training center in the Thermi area is officially announced. The consecration ceremony takes place on January 19, 2024.

June 2024: Competition for the selection of a contractor for the preparation of the Masterplan and architectural designs.

September 2024: British company KSS (also responsible for the training centers of Liverpool, Tottenham, Leicester, and Brighton, etc.) is appointed as the contractor

January 2025: Masterplan is delivered by KSS to PAOK.

March 2025: Based on the Masterplan, the building permit for the preliminary works is issued on 17.03.2025.

April 2025: Competition for the company that will undertake the first phase of the project.

May 2025: Project contractor is appointed.

June 2025: Preliminary works begin on June 10.

*** The training center, in full development, will include a building for the A and B team dressing rooms and youth departments, a hostel for daily accommodation of players, gyms, physiotherapy rooms, office spaces, multi-purpose rooms, journalist workspaces, restaurants, a support functions building, parking lots, and green space areas.
