Vote for the MVP of August
The first month of the 2025-26 season has come to an end with PAOK achieving all of its goals. Qualifying for the League Phase of the UEFA Europa League and 2/2 in the Stoiximan Super League, with the Double-headed Esgle making an ideal start to their competitive obligations.
In the Fans’ Man of the Match poll for the six matches in August, three players collected the most votes and from them it was time to highlight the team’s best player for the past four weeks.
The first candidate is Jiri Pavlenka . The Czech goalkeeper took the gloves of the starting goalkeeper and was excellent. Showing superb guidance of his defence, making key saves, and making a huge contribution to PAOK’s qualifications for Europe and the two victories in the domestic championship.
Also entering the battle is Soualiho Meite . The French midfielder did not miss a minute of the first six matches of the season, dominated the midfield, contributed greatly in all phases of the game, while also finding the net in the home game against Rijeka, paving the way for his team to a big victory and qualification.
Giannis Konstantelias could not be left out of the conversation. Mr. Breeze started the season with his foot firmly on the gas, tormenting every defence he came up against, scoring a wonderful solo goal and handing out two assists, while also offering many moments of magic.
