Pavlenka’s fantastic stop
Jiri Pavlenka is the winner of the PAOK TV Play of the Month award for August, thanks to his decisive intervention in the game against Wolfsberger in Austria.
The Czech goalkeeper kept the score at 0-0 in the 36th minute of the match, saying “no” to Balo’s one-on-one chance, with PAOK ultimately qualifying in extra time. His performance garnered 72.83% of the votes and deservedly won the award.
In second place was Giannis Konstantelias with 21.01%, for his excellent pass to Giakoumakis in the game against Rijeka at the Toumba. The top three was completed by Magomed Ozdoev with 6.16%. In the game against Atromitos, the Russian midfielder produced a superb cross to the far post, finding Dimitris Pelkas , who converted the pass into a goal and gave PAOK the victory.
