Important away win for PAOK B
First win, and a first three points of the season for PAOK B, who prevailed 4-2 against PAS Giannina at Zosimades on Sunday, playing some great football along the way.
The first half was excellent for PAOK’s second string, in a game that it was clear from the start that both teams were trying to be creative and positive.
PAOK B found spaces, played their football and, given that it closed out the opening 4 minutes with an emphatic 3-0 lead, it was obviously justified.
Mustma fired a warning shot in the 12th minute, but Dimos cleared the shot for a corner. However, in the 20th minute he did not miss and with a sliding effort made it 1-0 to PAOK B. In the 32nd minute it was Balde’s turn to score with an effort from close range, after a run and pass from the right by Adam.
PAS then pushed forward and had two good opportunities to reduce the deficit in the 38th and 39th minutes. On the other hand, it was PAOK B who found the net again via Balde in the 45th minute.
Tsopouroglou surged forward down the left, passed the ball to Adam on the right, and he moved it on to Balde who made it 3-0.
PAOK B continued where they left off in the second 45 minutes. In the 50th minute, Mustma was fouled in the penalty area, Tsopouroglou took the resulting penalty and the visitors were 4-0 up in the 52nd minute.
An open game followed, with the home team looking for a goal and achieving it in the 57th minute with a well-taken penalty by Boulari (a penalty he won himself). PAOK B had the opportunity for a fifth goal with Adam in the 61st minute, but his diagonal shot hit the post, and with Balde’s shot in the 65th minute, as well as with Mustma’s effort in the 73rd minute.

In the 86th minute, Ariyibi made it 4-2 with a powerful shot, and the truth is that until the end, the home team threatened to claim a third goal on at least two occasions.
Finally, PAOK B got an important away win, its first three points of the season, and they are already preparing for its next game, a home clash against Astera AKTOR B.
