Vote for September’s MVP
September was a difficult month for the Double-headed Eagle. Three players stood out, though, with their performances and now it’s up to you to decide who the MVP of the past month was.
The first candidate is Jiri Pavlenka. The Czech goalkeeper has been in excellent form since the start of the season and keeps proving it in every game. Key saves, solid marshalling of the defensive line, and a cool head in difficult moments are becoming his default setting. Pavlenka is ready to go for back-to-back awards, but to succeed he will have to fend off some strong competition.
The second contender is Giannis Konstantelias. Another player who has been in excellent form since the 2025-26 season kicked off, Mr.Breeze was a joy to watch in September as well. He may not have recorded high numbers in terms of goals and assists, as he had just one goal, but he tormented every opposing defence he came up against.
The third candidate is Giannis Michialidis. The Greek central defender continues to keep his foot on the gas this season, and his form has led to his return to the Greece national team fold. Impeccable in his defensive duties, pivotal in the attacking part as well, Michailidis has developed into a key player for Razvan Lucescu’s team.
