All in for the trophy
League matters have been put aside. On Saturday (25.04) PAOK has another date with history and the opportunity to win another trophy. The squad are preparing for the 2025-26 Betsson Greek Cup final with absolute concentration.
On Monday (20.04) the team did a recovery and rehabilitation training session in Nea Mesimvria and on Tuesday (21.04) the preparation for the final against OFI officially kicked off.
The session included a warm-up, possession work, some tactics drills and a game played within limited spaces.
Giorgos Giakoumakis underwent an MRI which showed that he has suffered a left thigh strain. The length of his absence will depend on his body’s response to the treatments. Meanwhile, Dejan Lovren suffered a sprain in his right ankle in the game against AEK. The Croatian began treatment and his condition will be assessed daily. Finaly, Kiril Despodov also continued with his course of treatment.
