It has been just over a month since the PAOK squad returned to action. A period full of double training sessions, special tactics lessons, and friendly tests. As of today 01.08, however, the preparation is now a thing of the past. The season starts here and the Double-headed Eagle squad travel to Dublin in order to face Bohemians.
The last training session before the squad’s departure for Ireland took place on Sunday (01.08) morning at the Toumba with the pitch thermometer showing 39 degrees at 09:00!! Almost 30 degrees more than the conditions that PAOK are expected to face in Dublin on Tuesday at 21:45 (Greek time).
The program included games played within limited spaces, ball movement exercises, as well as some tactical work and set-piece practice. Ingason and Crespo stayed in the gym for recovery, while Augusto followed an individual program on the practice pitch.
At 18:00, PAOK departs on a charter flight to Ireland and Razvan Lucescu has the following players at his disposal: Paschalakis, Zivkovic, Talichmanidis, Varela, Michailidis, Mihaj, Lyratzis, Rodrigo, Taylor, Pereira, Esiti, Vieirinha, Schwab, Kurtic, Tsingaras, Kagawa, Biseswar, El Kaddouri, Tzolis, Murg, A. Zivkovic, Swiderski, Oliveira, Koutsias.
On Monday (02.03) PAOK will train at the Aviva Stadium at 21:00, while earlier at 20:15 Razvan Lucescu’s press conference will take place.
