Jack Angelides was born in Nicosia, Cyprus but lived most of his life abroad including the United States, Canada and United Kingdom. He is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and worked as a lawyer in private practice and as general counsel and managing director in financial institutions.
He joined Maccabi Tel Aviv FC in late 2009 following the purchase of the Club by their current owner. During his tenure at Maccabi the Club underwent wholesale organisational changes in both the professional and administrative side. The Club won back to back championships in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 and qualified to the knock-out stages of the Europa League.
PAOK FC is in the route of becoming a modern, European football club with clear demands for success both in Greek and European competitions. Angelides will bring the experience of achieving high level projects in football, marketing, communication and along with the existing Board of Directors we aim to upgrade the Club’s functionality and effectiveness.
We want to combine our fans’ dynamic and passion for the team with a high level administration who will bring managerial guidance to success.
We welcome in our family Jack Angelides and we promise him all the support he needs to achieve.
