Aiming for an immediate response
PAOK had a bad night at the office against Panathinaikos and were knocked off the top of the Super League table as a result. But the season doesn’t end there, and the next challenge is a Greek Cup quarter-final match against the same opponents as the team look to continue their bid to retain the trophy.
The Dikefalos tou Vorra had plenty of lessons to take away from the defeat at the ΟΑΚΑ, and the team began working on correcting the mistakes made and return to winning form as well as good performances. On Wednesday (05.02, 21:30) PAOK have the chance to put the loss to Panathinaikos behind them against the same opponents but in a different competition.
The preparations got underway immediately at Nea Mesimvria. Those players who took part in Sunday’s (02.02) match remained in the gym and swimming pool as part of their recuperation program. The rest of the group were out on the training pitches and took part in a session focused on fitness conditioning, rondo and some possession games.
On Tuesday (04.02) PAOK will train again at 15:30 at Nea Mesimvria.
