The team’s final training session had an air of activation and energization about it ahead of the match against the Vissini. The first part saw the players execute exercises on fitness conditioning, before the emphasis then switched to finishing and set-pieces.

Enea Mihaj continued his rehab program, while Rodrigo has been left out of the squad despite being fit.

At the end of the training session, the coaching team announced the following squad for the trip to Larissa:

The squad had lunch together at the Toumba, had the traditional new year pie cutting ceremony – with Schwab and Tziolis the lucky winners of the coins hidden in the pie – before boarding the team coach for Larissa.
